One of the new highlights of the HTC Touch Cruise 09 (HTC T4242) is the new Footprint software. While geo-tagging of photos is nothing new, the ability to geo-tag, jot notes and record audio at the same time is possibly a world’s first. To use this function, flip to the large feet icon in the TouchFLO interface, then click the white “+” button on the top right corner. The phone will automatically take a picture with its 3.2 MP camera and get location information using the built-in aGPS chip. You can add notes and record audio by pressing the pen and paper icon on the bottom left corner.
To trace your footprints, flip through the photos by sliding your finger up and down, then press on an image to view its location, date, time, and any notes. You can also use its built-in map program to help you find a route to the place where the photo is taken. Having the HTC Touch Cruise 09 will certainly make your holiday more memorable and fun!
